I am 22 weeks pregnant and have been seeing an obstetrician who has his office decorated with forceps. I think it is some kind of time-line from the most antique to the newer looking ones. I was very creeped out by it at first, but thought it would fade. Instead of fading, I’m just getting more worried that this may be a sign of his excitement to use forceps during labor instead of trying other methods first. Should I look for a new doctor or am I being dramatic? I have not actually met him yet by the way, so I don’t know a lot about him.
Sorry, I should have said I’ve been seeing his nurse practitioner. It is partially my fault that I haven’t met him yet.. I moved to this area a few months ago and at my last appointment, he was performing a delivery. So, I can’t really blame him for that one, but I do wish they would have rescheduled instead of making me wait another month! Thanks for your answers 
Obviously, you are concerned for a reason. Someone doesn’t keep a collection like that unless there is some kind of approval of its use. I would look for a different doctor. BTW, how can you be seeing an obstetrician at 22 weeks and still haven’t met him? That’s certainly poor quality care!

I have offered to do the shopping and to manage the decorations in my office area this year. There are 10 desk areas in cubicles, and a lunch table area. I have a budget of $30.
Do you have a cheap idea on how to decorate the WHOLE office area?
(I have light strands already.)

Question Details: Hello everyone! I am trying to decorate my office for the holidays. We can’t set a Christmas tree because we don’t have enough space in the office, but my coworker suggested to hand Christmas ornaments from the ceiling (like red and gold maybe, the cute loking ones, not the tacky ones, lol). Now, his idea was to maybe put one red, the "something" in the middle and then a gold one and make like a line of 18 total. Anyways, do you have any idea what that "something about 1ft tall" could be? Do u have a better idea? Mind you, The place to be decorated is a travel agency and we don’t want to go overboard on the money, space or Christmas decoration since one of my other coworkers is muslim. Please give me some ideas as I am heading to the stores this afternoon.
Another thing that I forgot is that the walls are white, so is the ceiling, so we need something that can be seen. I am saying this because I proposed glitter snowflakes to be the something larger hanging but we all agree that it will not be contrasting.
We don’t have windows. I mean, we do, but we are on a 6th floor.
Considering the white walls and a muslim coworker, I would probably go with a winter wonderland type of theme. Try using light blues, silvers, greys, and the white as you basic colouring. The office is a great place to decorate because of the tools you have to use. Try finding objects on line to print out, duplicate and hang (ie, snowflakes, lodgehouses, trees). You also most probably have windows which you can spray white in the corners like some other businesses do. If you do hang garland or ornaments from the cieling keep them light. Try hangin them from different lengths. One idea I used was to print out letters spelling a phrase like "Happy Holidays", or " Ho, Ho, Ho" and framed each letter in a decrotive or contempory fram and hang them for a larger display to take up some wall space. We are doing our annual Christmas party tomorrow so I dont have much time. We are going to do the White Elephant gift exchange thing, but we also need some fun games and activity ideas to make it more fun. I also want some decoration ideas, we do have a Christmas tree but what other decorations could I take to make it fun and nice? The office staff is from 20 years old to about 45, and there is gonna be around 35 people. We are going to do catering so I dont really need food ideas, but just general fun stuff to do. Any help is greatly appreciated!
